This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...This Morning for Eastern Oklahoma and This Afternoon for
Northwest Arkansas.

DISCUSSION...
Isolated to widely scattered showers and storms remain possible
across parts of eastern Oklahoma, mainly west of a line from
Nowata to McAlester this morning. Any development should weaken
through the morning hours.

Additional isolated to widely scattered showers and storms are
forecast to develop over parts of northwest Arkansas this
afternoon with an area of low pressure expanding back into the
region. Much of the afternoon activity is forecast to weaken this
evening. However, a slight chance of showers will remain overnight
tonight, mainly along and east of a line from Berryville to Ozark
Arkansas.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.

MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY...No Hazards.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Rain chances along with limited thunder potential will continue
Monday across Northwest Arkansas before the area of low pressure
exits the region. Additional shower and storm chances return
Wednesday mainly northwest of Interstate 44 with a disturbance
lifting out into the Plains. At this time, the greater
precipitation chances are forecast late week into next weekend
with a low pressure system and frontal boundary moving into the
Plains. Ahead of this low pressure system, warmer and more humid
conditions are forecast to return for the second half of the week.
