...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values 105 to 109 expected.

* WHERE...Muskogee, Okfuskee, Sequoyah, Craig, Creek, Mayes, Nowata,
  Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK,
  Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, and Pittsburg Counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT this evening. Noon to 9 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible especially impacting
  those not acclimated to the conditions or those performing
  strenuous activities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 106 this afternoon. Dangerously hot
  conditions with heat index values up to 111 possible on Monday.

* WHERE...Crawford, Franklin, and Sebastian Counties.

* WHEN...The Heat Advisory is in effect until 9 PM CDT this evening.
  The Excessive Heat Watch will be in effect from noon Monday to 9
  PM Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
  could create a dangerous situation in which heat related illnesses
  are more likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions when outside. When possible, reschedule
strenuous activities to early morning or evening.
