FOR NORTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA AND SOUTH CENTRAL PENNINGTON
COUNTIES...
At 613 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southwest of
Sheep Mountain Table, or 41 miles north of Pine Ridge, moving
southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Rockyford, southern Badlands National Park, Thunder Valley,
Lonesome Valley, Sharps Corner and Goose Neck Housing.
