.DISCUSSION...In general, conditions remain dry for most of the
area despite the recent and expected influx of moisture into the
area. While some localized areas could get wetting rains in the
coming days, most areas will not. Thunderstorm development will
result in additional concerns from lightning sparking fires to
outflow winds possibly spreading them rapidly. Otherwise, we are
looking for very hot conditions with temperatures well above
normal through the middle of the week. Winds are generally
expected to be light through Wednesday.
