...EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions. High temperatures 115 to 120 at
  Furnace Creek in Death Valley National Park, 106 to 111 in Las
  Vegas, Pahrump, Wikieup, and Yucca, and 109 to 114 in Mesquite,
  Overton, Laughlin, and Bullhead City.

* WHERE...Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Northwest Deserts,
  Death Valley National Park, Northeast Clark County, Western Clark
  and Southern Nye County, and Las Vegas Valley.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
