There is a low chance for a strong to severe storm, with hail and damaging wind gusts the primary threats. The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Marginal Risk, level 1 out of 5 this evening for areas generally northwest of Iowa City to Dubuque Iowa. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY Building heat and humidity will combine with near daily thunderstorm chances in the region from Wednesday through the weekend. Some strong to severe storms will be possible from time to time. The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Marginal Risk, level 1 out of 5 for severe storms on Wednesday, generally northwest of Iowa City to Freeport Illinois. Thursday, the Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Slight Risk for severe weather, level 2 out of 5 for areas south of Interstate 80. Early indications suggest that heat index readings may exceed 95 degrees at times Sunday and Monday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
