In 2005, several supercell thunderstorms produced tornadoes across portions of western and north central Kansas. In the Tri State area, seven tornadoes occurred over a three-hour period. The strongest was an F2 tornado near the town of Hill City in Graham County. Weaker tornadoes occurred near the town of Oberlin and in rural southeast Gove county. $$
