.DISCUSSION...
A sharp increase in thunderstorm coverage and rainfall intensity is
forecast for Wednesday and Thursday as low level moisture increases
from the southeast and a series of disturbances embedded in a ridge
of high pressure aloft cross from the west. Wet microbursts will be
possible near stronger cells with a risk of brief, localized, and
erratic wind gusts up to 50 mph. Rain amounts in the area Wednesday
into Thursday should generally vary around a quarter inch with
locally higher amounts potentially over 1 inch.
