...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY
THROUGH 415 PM MDT...

At 352 PM MDT, emergency management reported a strong thunderstorm
over Alto, or near Ruidoso, moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management and radar.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ruidoso, Bonito Lake, Alto, Nogal, and Angus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and is leading
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways!

Hail may also accumulate, creating slick and treacherous roadways.
