This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, north
central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) of severe weather from mid
afternoon into this evening, shifting east from around the Missouri
River to the James River Valley. Large hail and strong wind gusts
will be the main threats, though a tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of severe weather west of
the Missouri River on Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed from mid afternoon into this
evening. Weather spotters are encouraged to submit reports to the
National Weather Service in Aberdeen. The public can submit reports
on our web page, Facebook page, or our X feed.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota and
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of severe weather this
evening. Strong to severe storms over central South Dakota will push
into eastern South Dakota and west central Minnesota this evening.
They are expected to weaken as they shift into the area, but still
have the potential for hail to around the size of quarters and winds
to around 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

No severe weather is expected at this time.
