.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry conditions will be the main story through the weekend.
Expect light and variable surface winds expect near thunderstorms this evening
and on Sunday. Expect northeast winds to persist over the hills north and west
of the fire, but it is unlikely these winds will mix to the valley floor for
longer than an occasional gust to around 10 mph. There is only a very slight
chance of a thunderstorm this evening. The ridge of high pressure aloft will
build through Sunday, bringing warmer conditions each day.
