.DISCUSSION...
A thermal low pressure trough just north of the fire will move over
the fire about noon today, then move south of the fire late this
afternoon and move further south of the fire tonight and Sat.
The thermal trough will serve as focus mechanisms for convection
this afternoon and evening when isolated thunderstorms can be expected.

Northeast winds will blow at 10 mph this afternoon into Sat,
causing smoke to move southwest of the fire and away from the
Richardson Highway.

A drying and warming trend will occur through the weekend and
will bring near Red Flag conditions Sat PM.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Areas of smoke
                    thinning in the afternoon. Isolated showers in the
                    morning, then scattered showers and isolated
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon.
