No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. There is a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Saturday into Saturday night, with the main threat being gusty winds. In addition, thunderstorms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall, especially on Saturday night. There is a marginal risk for excessive rainfall for most of the area, with a slight risk for the Mohawk Valley and Adirondacks. Ponding of water in urban and poor drainage areas is expected within the heaviest thunderstorms, with the potential for some flash flooding. In addition, there is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms on Sunday with southeastern parts of the area along a departing cold front.
