Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
502 AM EDT Sat Jun 29 2024

...Numerous showers and a few thunderstorms into this evening...

.DISCUSSION...Low pressure passing to our north will push a cold
front across northern Michigan late today. Showers and a few
storms will continue to cross the area through late this morning.
A bit of a lull early to mid afternoon, before additional showers
and storms form late this afternoon into this evening. Some of
these storms could be strong, with locally gusty winds. Otherwise
we will see southwest to west winds today.

Cloud cover will gradually decrease Sunday, with lower humidity
values and a northwest breeze.
