WESTERN WEXFORD...SOUTHWESTERN GRAND TRAVERSE AND MANISTEE COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM EDT... At 408 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles northwest of Frankfort to near Mears SP. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Traverse City, Manistee, Frankfort, Thompsonville, Empire, Beulah, Arcadia, Bingham, Sherman, Buckley, Eastlake, Benzonia, Kaleva, Cedar, Onekama, Mesick, Elberta, Honor, Bear Lake, and Lake Ann.
