...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76 affecting Allamakee County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at midnight CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, lowland agricultural areas begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
    morning to 14.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall
    below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.7 feet on 07/24/2022.
