...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MITCHELL...WESTERN
OLMSTED...MOWER...SOUTHEASTERN DODGE AND WESTERN FILLMORE COUNTIES
THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 335 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hayfield to near Grand Meadow to near
Stacyville. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Grand Meadow and Adams around 340 PM CDT.
  Rochester and Stewartville around 345 PM CDT.
  Spring Valley and Le Roy around 350 PM CDT.
  Wykoff around 400 PM CDT.
  Chatfield around 405 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Forestville State
Park, Toeterville, Fillmore, County Roads 6 And 15, Rock Dell,
Mayville, Rochester Airport, Waltham, Highway 30 And County 15, and
County Roads 1 And 15.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 178 and
224.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central and northeastern Iowa...and southeastern Minnesota.
