...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LACKAWANNA...
SOUTHWESTERN WAYNE...EAST CENTRAL LUZERNE AND WEST CENTRAL PIKE
COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM EDT...

At 824 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lehigh, or 11 miles southeast of Scranton, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Dunmore, Blakely, Dickson City, Olyphant, Jessup, Throop,
Moscow, Sterling, and Elmhurst.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 186 and 188.
 Interstate 84 between 1 and 20.
 Interstate 380 between 20 and 24.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
