Showers and thunderstorms continue to make their way through the
eastern portions of the region this morning, fully exiting the
area by sunrise. Today should see seasonably warm temperatures
across most of the region, with some areas in the northwest
becoming a bit cooler than usual. Highs will range from the lower
60s in the northwest to the lower 80s in South Dakota. Windy
conditions are also possible in the southwestern portions of the
region Friday afternoon and evening.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms returns this afternoon as
well, moving from west to east and exiting the region through late
tonight into Saturday morning. Isolated strong to severe storms
are possible, especially across the east.

Temperatures briefly cool down on Saturday, with highs largely in
the 60s, before warming up once more through the start of next
week.
