Today should see seasonably warm temperatures across most of the
region, with some areas in the northwest becoming a bit cooler
than usual. Highs will range from the lower 60s in the northwest
to the lower 80s in South Dakota. Windy conditions are also
possible in the southwestern portions of the region this
afternoon and evening.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms return this afternoon,
moving from west to east and exiting the region through late
tonight into Saturday morning. Isolated strong to severe storms
are possible, especially across north central and eastern North
Dakota, and much of Minnesota.

Temperatures briefly cool down on Saturday, with highs largely in
the 60s, before warming up once more through the start of next
week.
