.DISCUSSION...Today`s temperatures are cooler compared to
Wednesday, but remain about 5 degrees above the seasonal
average. A gradual warming trend is expected through Saturday as
the high-pressure ridge strengthens over the region. By
Saturday, temperatures are projected to be around 15 degrees
above normal. No updates are required at this time.

.AVIATION...VFR. Skies will clear and no significant weather is
forecast today or tonight. Surface winds: variable 10 kt or
less.

KBOI...VFR. Scattered mid-level clouds. Surface wind NW 5-10 kt
today, becoming variable less than 5 kt after 27/02Z.

Weekend Outlook...VFR. Winds less than 10 kt Fri/Sat. Dry cold
front will move through Sunday, bringing W to NW winds 5-15 kt
for most areas.

.PREV DISCUSSION...
SHORT TERM...Today through Saturday night...Dry zonal flow
aloft will become SW tonight and remain so through Sat night.
Temps will cool today compared to Wed, then warm back up, once
again reaching around 15 degrees above normal Sat. Winds will be
light. A dry cold front will enter the area late Saturday night.

LONG TERM...Sunday through Thursday...The dry cold front will
move through the remainder of the area Sunday, producing
moderate NW winds. Upper flow will continue to be dry and zonal
through Tue. A weak, dry upper level trough is forecast to move
through late Tuesday or Wed. This should bring cooler
temperatures for Wed and especially Thu, when readings may even
return to normal after being above normal for the past couple of
weeks.
