...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL LIVINGSTON...
SOUTHEASTERN ORLEANS...EASTERN GENESEE...MONROE AND NORTHWESTERN
ONTARIO COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 317 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bergen, or 8 miles southwest of Chili, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and torrential downpours.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Brief, torrential downpours will result
         in ponding of water in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Rochester, Greece, Irondequoit, Chili, East Rochester, Webster,
Fairport, Brighton, Gates, Henrietta, Penfield, Spencerport, Victor,
Honeoye Falls, Byron, Caledonia, Scottsville, Churchville, and
Mendon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 390 between exits 11 and 12.
 Interstate 90 between exits 45 and 47.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
