Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
440 PM EDT Thu Jun 27 2024

High pressure building across the region overnight will give the
Keystone state clear skies, cool temperatures and light winds.
These conditions will lead to the formation of valley fog, given
moist ground from yesterdays widespread rainfall.

Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid and upper 40s
across the northern mountains to the upper 50s across the
southeast.

Mostly sunny conditions with a southerly breeze will occur on
Friday. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 70s
across the mountains, to the lower to mid 80s elsewhere. Lows
Friday night will be mainly in the 60s.

A more humid airmass will surge back into Pennsylvania on
Saturday. This will result in a chance of showers and storms
Friday night. Showers and storms will be much more widespread on
Saturday and Saturday night. Some storms could be on the strong
side over the weekend, along with heavy downpours.

A cold front will move east and south of the area by late Sunday,
bringing in less humid air.
