...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LYCOMING...NORTHERN
COLUMBIA AND SOUTHEASTERN SULLIVAN COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM EDT...

At 1227 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles north of Bloomsburg, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hughesville, Jamison City, Waller, Fairmount Spgs, Biggertown,
Lairdsville, Ricketts Glen State Park, Central, Benton, Picture
Rocks, and Stillwater.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
central and north central Pennsylvania.
