This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

There is an isolated threat for thunderstorms (20%-30% chance)
for this afternoon and evening for the Arrowhead of Minnesota and
along and east of the St. Croix River Valley and into western
Wisconsin. Severe weather is not anticipated


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday


Severe thunderstorms are possible (Risk level 2 of 5) Wednesday
from 3pm-11pm across the region. Initially these storms will be
capable of very large hail potentially in excess of 2 inches in
diameter. A tornado or two are also possible, especially across
northeast Minnesota. After 9pm the risk for damaging winds in
excess of 60mph will increase.

An active weather pattern is expected to resume starting Saturday
and continuing into early next week. There are some signals on
Sunday for the possibility of stronger to severe storms

Skywarn spotters may be needed wednesday afternoon and evening
across northeast Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

 Isolated non-severe thunderstorms are possible (20% chance) this
afternoon and early evening.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday


Severe thunderstorms are possible (level 2 of 5) Wednesday from
3pm-11pm across the region. Initially these storms will be
capable of very large hail potentially in excess of 2 inches in
diameter. After 9pm the risk for damaging winds in excess of 50kts
will increase.

Gusty westerly winds with gusts up to 25kts on Thursday may lead
to conditions hazardous to small craft.

An active weather pattern is expected to resume starting Saturday
and continuing into early next week. There are some signals on
Sunday for the possibility of stronger to severe storms
