...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Watch for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

.Heavy rain on the Cedar River will make its way downstream to the
lower Iowan and potentially cause flooding at the following sites.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

The next statement will be issued by Wednesday evening at 900 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land near
  the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts
  rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.9 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached late Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, River Road is under water and the water is
  a few feet up onto the levee.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.3 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
