...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Friday morning at 1145 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT TO EARLY
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land near
  the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts
  rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.0 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Monday morning to a crest of 21.5 feet Monday evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to Thursday, July 04.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing.
  Several county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.2 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Monday morning to a crest of 11.8 feet Tuesday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage Thursday, July 04.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
