...Slow-moving thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern
Rock Island, northwestern Henry, southeastern Washington, western
Muscatine, northwestern Louisa and northeastern Jefferson Counties
through 115 AM CDT...

At 1236 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking slow-moving thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Fairport to Brighton. Movement was
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Minor flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Slowing or redirecting of traffic due to ponding or flowing
         water. Closure of waterfront access due to flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Muscatine, Washington, Columbus Junction, Fruitland, Wayland,
Brighton, Ainsworth, Conesville, Columbus City, Letts,
Crawfordsville, Cotter, Coppock, Wyman, Fredonia, Sand Springs,
Cranston, Washington Airport, Haskins, and Ardon.

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches have fallen and an additional 0.5
to 1.0 inches of rain are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
