SOUTHEASTERN KEOKUK...SOUTHERN WASHINGTON AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES...

At 621 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Washington to near Mac Coon Access to Collett,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Washington, Wayland, Ainsworth, Birmingham, Stockport, Lockridge,
  Rome, Coppock, Washington Airport, Glasgow, Crawfordsville, Olds,
  Westwood, Cotter, Haskins, Swedesburg, Morris Park, Mount
  Pleasant, Wyman, Water Works Park, Oakland Mills, Oakland Mills
  Park, Mount Pleasant Municipal Arpt and Henry County Fairgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southeastern
Iowa.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
