...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kansas...

  Tomahawk Creek at Roe Avenue Overland Park affecting Johnson
  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tomahawk Creek at Roe Avenue Overland Park.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water approaches the northbound lane of
  Tomahawk Creek Parkway.
  At 18.0 feet, Flooding begins to affect several homes along the
  creek`s north bank, just upstream of the gage site.
  At 19.0 feet, Flood waters approach 119th Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:16 PM CDT Monday the stage was 16.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 17.4 feet this
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
