increased in duration for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Little Sioux River near Correctionville affecting Cherokee,
  Woodbury and Ida Counties.

...Observed flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Iowa...

  Ocheyedan River near Everly affecting O`Brien and Clay Counties.

  Waterman Creek near Sutherland affecting O`Brien County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Correctionville.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 23.8 feet, major agricultural flooding on the east
  side of the river begins, and water will spread 1/4 mile east and
  affect highway L27.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 17.5 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall slightly to 17.0 feet by early Sunday
    afternoon. It will then rise above flood stage by early
    Monday morning and continue rising to 24.4 feet by early
    Tuesday morning. After that, it should gradually fall, but
    remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
