...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Minnesota...

  Rock River at Luverne affecting Rock County.

...Observed flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Minnesota...Iowa...

  Rock River near Hardwick affecting Rock County.

  West Fork Little Sioux River near Lake Park affecting Dickinson
  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Rock River at Luverne.

* WHEN...Until late Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, The right bank levee in Luverne is
  overtopped and floods the baseball field. This may also allow
  water to approach some structures on the eastern edge of Luverne.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:30 PM CDT Friday was 13.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    late Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHERE...West Fork Little Sioux River near Lake Park.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 1398.0 feet, Significant amounts of crop and pasture
  land are flooded north of Highway 9, and 125th Street just east of
  the river northeast of Lake Park begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 1398.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:00 PM CDT Friday was 1398.2 feet.
