Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Flooding surrounding area creeks and rivers will continue.

Strong to severe storms are possible during the late evening and
overnight, mainly along and west of the James River. Main threats
are ping pong ball sized hail and wind gusts to 70 mph. Locally
heavy rain and a tornado are possible. Widespread heavy rain is not
expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Flooding continues on many area rivers through the end of the week.

Strong to severe storms are possible during the afternoon and early
evening Friday, mainly east of I-29. Some uncertainty remains in
Friday`s severe threat, but all modes of severe weather are possible
as well as locally heavy rain. Widespread heavy rainfall is not
expected.

An active pattern early next week could lead to additional heavy

this time.
