481 AWUS85 KGGW 140842 RWSGGW Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Glasgow MT 242 AM MDT Fri Jun 14 2024 This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota. An upper level ridge builds across the region today, leading to greater instability, prompting chances for severe weather across eastern Montana and western North Dakota this afternoon and evening. Skies will be partly cloudy today with chances for showers and thunderstorms across the region this afternoon. Highs will be in the 80s in most areas and 90 to 95 over southern Montana. There will be chance for showers and thunderstorms tonight with lows in the 50s to lower 60s. A cold front will move through the area Saturday and Saturday night. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning which will become widespread in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could become severe Saturday afternoon and evening. Storms will diminish late Saturday night. Highs on Saturday will be in the 70s over central Montana and southern Saskatchewan and in the 80s to lower 90s over eastern Montana and western North Dakota. $$
