This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening and into the
overnight hours. A few of these storms this evening may be strong
to severe with wind gusts to near 60 mph and hail to the size of
half dollars.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms are possible across the area Friday evening and
into the overnight hours. Strong to severe storms are possible
again Friday evening with wind gusts to near 60 mph and hail to
the size of ping pong balls.

There are additional periodic thunderstorm chances across at
least parts of the outlook area Saturday night through Wednesday,
although at least the daytime hours this weekend look to be mostly
dry.

Warmer temperatures return next week. Heat index values of 100 to
105 degrees are possible for portions of the area both Monday and
Tuesday, with the focus of the highest heat index values expected
to be across portions of north central Kansas.
