...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GREELEY...EASTERN VALLEY...
NORTHEASTERN BUFFALO...SHERMAN...HOWARD AND NORTHERN HALL COUNTIES
THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 756 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Ericson to near Scotia to
near Ravenna. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grand Island, Ord, Greeley, St. Paul, Ravenna, Loup City, Cairo,
Spalding, Scotia, Dannebrog, North Loup, Wolbach, Elba, Ashton,
Howard City, Farwell, Rockville, Hazard, and Cotesfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central and central Nebraska.
