...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RIO BLANCO COUNTY
THROUGH 315 PM MDT...

At 245 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Meeker, or 36 miles southwest of Craig, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meeker and Buford.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 34 and 54.
 Colorado 64 between mile markers 64 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central Colorado.
