...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DELTA AND
NORTHEASTERN MESA COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM MDT...

At 528 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles east of Collbran, or 30 miles southwest of Glenwood Springs,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Delta
and northeastern Mesa Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
west central Colorado.
