This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Thunderstorms are forecast to move off the Colorado front range and
into far eastern Colorado in the 8 PM to 9 PM MDT timeframe,
continuing east toward Highway 27 close to 11 PM MDT. A few
thunderstorms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds.
The threat for severe weather decreases as the thunderstorms
continue moving east across the remainder of the area overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop Thursday afternoon
with large hail, damaging winds and torrential rainfall the primary
threats. Some tornado potential may be possible during the early
evening hours. Localized instances of flooding are also possible.

Continued threat Friday for strong to potentially severe
thunderstorms across the area.

Heat indices of 100 to 104 degrees are forecast east of Highway 25
Monday afternoon.
