AFTERNOON TO 7 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...East winds 20 to 30 kt with occasional gusts up to 40
  kt and seas 9 to 14 ft expected. Bay waters rough to very
  rough.

* WHERE...Galveston Bay, Matagorda Bay, and portions of Gulf of
  Mexico.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
