This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few thunderstorms are possible this evening and overnight,
especially over central, east-central, and north-central Kansas.
Dime to quarter size hail and 60 mph winds may accompany the
strongest activity, along with intense rainfall rates.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Heat indices around 104 to 108 degrees will impact portions of
far southern and southeast Kansas Saturday afternoon and early
evening.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible over far
southern Kansas late Saturday afternoon and evening. The strongest
activity will be capable of large hail and damaging winds, along
with intense rainfall rates. Shower and thunderstorm chances will
remain in the forecast Saturday night through Sunday morning
areawide, but this activity should remain mostly below severe
levels.

Hot and at times humid conditions return for Monday and Tuesday,
with afternoon through early evening heat indices exceeding 105
degrees.

Periodic thunderstorm chances return late Tuesday and persist
through late next week. A handful of strong to severe storms are
possible throughout this time period, along with areas of heavy
rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this evening over central, east-
central, and north-central Kansas.
