...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT RUSSELL COUNTY THROUGH 615 PM
CDT...

At 556 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm just
west of Russell, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. Also, reduced
         visibility in blowing dust is likely.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Russell, Lucas, Gorham, Luray, Dorrance, Bunker Hill, Paradise,
Waldo, Wilson State Park, Wilson Lake, and Russell Airport.

This includes Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 176 and 200.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central Kansas.
