Very warm through Saturday with a chance for showers and storms Friday. Rainfall coverage Friday appears spotty and most areas will remain dry. Drought conditions will continue to worsen as fine dead fuels dry out, increasing the potential for field fires of crops, grass and brush with any ignition source as lowest daytime relative humidities fall to around or below 30 percent today. The risk for field fires will also increase as harvest begins with heavy machinery moving into fields.
