Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
218 PM CDT Tue Jun 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...Patchy light morning fog will be possible in the
south Wednesday morning and patchy fog will be possible over most
of the area Thursday morning. The large upper level ridge will
shift west and allow a shortwave trough to drop over our area
Wednesday and Thursday. This will lead to greater rain chances
across the region and lower heat stress. Ridging surface and aloft
will strengthen back over the region Friday into the weekend
resulting in a greater concern of heat and humidity again.
