.DISCUSSION...

Isolated showers and thunderstorms may begin developing near
the burn site towards the noon hour, followed by increasing
chances for showers and thunderstorms throughout the afternoon
hours. Westerly surface and transport winds will prevail
this morning, with surface winds shifting to southwesterly
outside of thunderstorm activity this afternoon. Heat index
values will again approach Heat Advisory criteria by early
afternoon before showers and thunderstorms increase in
coverage. Gradually strengthening transport speeds and
elevated mixing heights will result in good daytime dispersion
values. Showers and thunderstorms will diminish in coverage
towards sunset, with west-southwesterly transport winds only
gradually diminishing overnight tonight.
