...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MONTGOMERY...BATH AND
SOUTH CENTRAL FLEMING COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM EDT...

At 305 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sharpsburg, or 10 miles north of Mount Sterling, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Owingsville, Marshall, Sharpsburg, Preston, Reynoldsville, Wyoming,
Peasticks, Flat Creek, Odessa, Stepstone, Bourbon Furnace, Pebble,
Slate Valley, Crooks, Bethel, Stoops, Oakley, Peeled Oak, Ewington,
and Judy.

THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
112 and 126.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
east central Kentucky.
