Isolated showers and thunderstorms occurred across the western
Sandhills last evening, and across southwest into central
Nebraska overnight. Most locations remained dry. Lows this morning
ranged from 55 at Gordon to 65 at Imperial.

For today, skies will be sunny. There could be a few severe
storms develop south of I80 late this afternoon and early this
evening, which could contain large hail, damaging winds and even
an isolated tornado. A cold front will stall out across southern
Nebraska, with most of the area to see highs reach the upper 70s
to low 80s. South of the front, highs will reach the low 90s in
far southwest Nebraska.
