Chandeleur Sound... Lake Borgne... Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas... Mississippi Sound... At 1229 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of showers along a outflow boundary , capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This cluster of showers is generally located along a line extending from 8 nm northeast of Lake Pontchartrain/Lake Maurepas to near Yscloskey, moving northeast at 20 knots. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots and higher waves.
