A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Chandeleur Sound...
  Lake Borgne...
  Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas...
  Mississippi Sound...

At 1229 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of showers along a
outflow boundary , capable of producing winds to around 30 knots.
This cluster of showers is generally located along a line extending
from 8 nm northeast of Lake Pontchartrain/Lake Maurepas to near
Yscloskey, moving northeast at 20 knots.

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots and
higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this
activity passes.
