...Max Heat Index Peaking Around 100 to 104 Degrees This
Afternoon...

The combination of temperatures in the low 90s and high relative
humidity will lead to peak heat indices around or slightly above 100
degrees this afternoon. A few spots could approach brief heat
indices near 105 degrees. Scattered storms will bring relief to
some.

Drink plenty of fluids, wear light and loose fitting clothing,
stay in air-conditioning if possible, seek shelter from the sun,
and check up on relatives and neighbors. Provide pets and other
animals with shade and water.
