Thunderstorms are likely through late tonight across the far southwestern Texas Panhandle and northern portions of the South Plains. A few storms may become severe with wind gusts to 70 mph the main threat. Slow storm motion and high rain rates may also result in localized flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Late day and evening thunderstorms will be possible most days from Saturday through Thursday. Strong wind gusts will be the primary hazard on Saturday afternoon and evening. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed. $$
